Yield: 12 Muffins
Total Cook Time: 1 hr 10 min. – 1 hr 15 min.
Prep: 10 min.
Bake Time: 30-35 min.
Cool: 30 min.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup (98g) all-purpose flour, measured properly
- 1/2 cup (57g) natural unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup (180ml) vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups (310g) sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate larger bowl, combine the vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix these ingredients until they are well incorporated.
- Beat the eggs into the sugar and oil mixture one at a time, making sure each egg is incorporated before adding the next.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the brownies tough.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out to the edges.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake, as this can dry out the brownies.
- Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan on a wire rack. Once they are completely cool, cut them into squares.
Enjoy your homemade brownies!
